Covid-19

This is a very challenging and worrying time for everyone and we wanted to share with you what we are doing to ensure we are all as safe as possible within the Nurseries.

We are still only open to children that are vulnerable and those of key workers and in the Nurseries we are dong everything that we can to ensure safety, health and well being.

We have thorough and regulary reviewed risk assessments in place, as well as a comprehensive site operating procedure. We work closely with the Local Authority, Ofsted and the Health Protection agency at all times.

Cleanliness and high standards of hygiene have always been important to us, but we now have even further heightened cleaning schedules and routines. Touch points and furniture are all cleaned at regular intervals through the day, toys and resources that are used are sterilised and cleaned thoroughly at the end of each day and we have limited the amount of soft furnishing where possible.

Effective handwashing is also essential and we are encouraging the children to do this even more - and have come up with songs that we can sing whilst doing it!

Hand sanitisers are available for use by everyone too.

The biggest change is that parents, carers and non essential visitors are not able come into the Nursery. We completely understand that this is hard for parents especially and we are doing all that we can to ensure effective hand overs still take place. If you would like to chat to us about anything at length which can be difficult at the doorway, please do give us a call and we would be more than happy to chat with you.

Thank you to everyone for all your understanding and support - it means so much!
